Hi, Esther here :)
I am a Dutch born gypsy currently residing in New Zealand. We havae been here for 6 years now and before NZ I have lived in the USA for about 18 years. I am turning 50 in June and want to commemorate this event by finally starting up my own bespoke Athletics/leisurewear company that I have been thinking about for the last 4 years.
My background is Architectural drafting and when we moved to NZ I was not able to work right away so I started and finished a Bachelor in Creative Technologies at Auckland AUT. By now I’m well rounded in the the 2D/3D/Animation/Video department … but Fashion … not so much, so there will be lots of trials and errors and lots to learn for sure 🙂
I am glad I found this course by accident (although I truly believe the Universe presents you with opportunities in a timely manner) and under the guidance of Ana and Klas I have a set goal of launching my first products by the end of the year.

My name is Emine and I lived approx 20 years in the UK and have now moved back to Stocholm and I started with opening up an online climbing equipment shop but chaning direction and are now in the process of starting our own Clothing range for climbers, especially female climbers.How far in your plans have you come? What’s been most challenging for you?

My name is Sylvia and about one and a half year ago I started my own brand for triathlon gear, which is made regional and sustainably in germany – I started knowing nothing about fashion and making clothes – and learned a lot of things the hard way 😉 and even still learning loads. Need to get a lot more professional especially in brand communication and learn to deal better with time (my little kid keeps me busy all day and makes me working at night).
Let’s go and do this!!!
