The number of parcels in and out from the Stockholm home office is increasing. Routes? Stockholm-Asia and Stockholm-Eastern Europe. For sure this will be quite a cost over time. I have an agreement only with DHL at present. Any experience on who you prefer? Pros and Cons?

We have worked with DHL, UPS, TNT, FedExand the Postal Service, and we have no real preference. When you come up in larger volumes you can start negotiating better price terms, and then the difference may be clearer. In our experience, the Postal Service, has the poorest service.

If you haven’t reached the volumes to use the courier’s discounted price lists, and you are interested in the lowest price, you can look at 4:th party services. For you in Sweden you can take a look at sendify.se. You use their online system to compare the prices from different couriers in real time. Maybe someone can recommend similar services from other countries?

If you are based in the US you can take a look at Shipstation, which is a shipping software that can help you if you are selling your apparel online. You can import, manage, and ship your orders in an efficient way. Shipstation works in the US with the most popular marketplaces and shopping carts using all the top carriers. We have heard great things about Shipstation, but we haven’t used it ourselves. You can try it 30 days for free by clicking this link.
